Bald Eagles - Squamish BC, Join us for the largest migration of bald eagles in the world! Every winter from late November until late February literally thousands of Bald Eagles arrive in Squamish to feast on salmon on the banks of the Squamish river and its tributaries. This is truly a spectacle not to be missed if you are travelling to this part of the world at the right time of year. There are prime viewing areas within walking distance of the Sea to Sky Hotel. To add to the experience, consider viewing the eagles from horseback or on an Eagle Safari float trip down the Squamish River while viewing hundreds of eagles nesting and feeding along the river banks with one of the rafting companies based in Squamish.
