Squamish Golf

Squamish has two great golf courses, and the Sea to Sky Hotel is located halfway between them, and within a kilometer of each.

Golf in the Squamish Valley is characterized by great views of snow capped mountains and forests –the golfing and the views are just as good as, if not better than the views in Whistler, and all this usually comes at a better price.

One km south of the Sea to Sky Hotel:

Squamish Valley Golf & Country Club

Open year round, the Squamish Valley course has 18 holes, par 72, and 4 sets of tees. The course features two lakes, a double green, and a full sized, 275 yard practice facility, including practice sand traps.
Along with giant trees, the course incorporates the massive stumps from the first growth timber into the design . The golf course is mostly flat and an easy walk with food & beverage service at the 10th tee turn, snack cart service on the back nine.  And of course, there is the Clubhouse's award winning menu.

One km north of the Sea to Sky Hotel:

Garibaldi Springs Golf Resort

The newer “Naturally Challenging” Garibaldi Springs Golf Resort is a masters (mid-length, championship) golf course.  Renowned golf course architect Les Furber designed it. The course is par-64 and features tree-lined fairways, lots of water, many elevated greens and tees atop a rocky ridge.

And of course, a mere 20 km to the south is the famous Furry Creek course, carved into the hillside and around Highway 99 right up to the Ocean on Howe Sound.
